Puppy & Owner Intro Session
For all first timers once, the puppy has had its second injection we offer an introduction thirty-minute session where your new puppy is allowed free individual access along with yourself to the grooming room. The puppy can explore the room and get used to the sights and sounds. We will go through the grooming process and review the correct equipment and coat management allowing you to successfully care for our new canine friend.
Please bring any grooming equipment you have with you for this session.
We will trim nails, clean ears, and trim sanitary areas. Should your dog need the hair removed from within their vision we will trim this area if the puppy is happy to allow it.
We work with the agreement of the dog and take our time to allow them to feel safe and cared for.
We recommend the Puppy intro session within ten days or so of this session. (see below)
Puppy Intro Sessions
Suitable once you have attended a Owner and Puppy intro session. (See above)
Perfect for Introducing your puppy to grooming and creating a lifelong routine. Includes bath, dry, nails, hygiene clip, tidy-up of feet and around eyes if needed, ending with a reward of playtime.
Recommended as soon as your new pup is fully vaccinated, this will get them used to all the smells sights and sounds of being at a groomers.
We recommend a few sessions every few weeks up until your pup is about 6 months so they are well prepared for their first Full Groom.
